Resolve missing or absent analytic dependencies
Missing analytic dependencies may result when analytics that were imported at some point, do not contain all the necessary supporting resources. Analytic dependencies may be reports used by a dashboard, but can also be calculated members and other dependencies.
Missing analytic dependencies can be mapped on the import wizard as well as from the right-click menu on the resource explorer.
Validate will verify that all required connections have been mapped.
Resolve missing members
From the Resource Explorer select the analytic resources for which to resolve the missing members.
On the resource, right-click and choose Missing Members.
Find corresponding members in the Dimension Tree and drag them into the Current column.
Save the changes.
Resolve absent resources
From Resource Explorer select the analytic resources for which to resolve missing resources.
On the resource, right-click and chooseMap Resources.
Find corresponding resources in the new model to which you are mapping the resources, and drag them into theCurrent column.
Savethe changes.
Validate resources
From Resource Explorer, select the analytic resources to validate.
On the resource, right-click and choose Validate.
