Important

When using a DB2 data source, you have to install the IBM Data Service Driver Package before Data Hub can connect to the data source. If you do not install the driver, you will see a warning message when attempting to test the data source's connection (via the Test Connection button).

The following connection settings need to be defined for a DB2-based data source:

Server. The name of the DB2 server. It can be just the server name if the DB2 server is on the same network as the Data Hub server. Alternatively, a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) can be used.

Database. The name of the DB2 database that will be accessed.

User Name. The user name needed to connect to the DB2 database specified in the previous item.

Password. The password for the user name specified in the previous item.
