Configure a Dynamics AX solution
Once a model is created you will need to perform some post-configuration steps. The number of post configuration steps will vary based on your model.
Process the cube. This step is necessary before accessing the included analytics. Although the importing of the analytics is automatic and occurs during the model creation process (in the wizard), the analytics cannot be deployed until the model is processed.
(optional) Deploy calculated members to implement a chart of accounts based on AX totaling ranges using the ➕ Deploy Chart of Accounts Analytics button in the model's Properties pane. This feature is useful if the account types dimension is not configured in Dynamics AX (meaning the standard accounts calculations provided with the solution will be inaccurate) or if you need to create financial reports based on specific accounts or account ranges from Dynamics AX.
Note
If + Deploy Analytics is grayed-out the analytics have already been deployed.
