Cloud release notes December 2020
Changes to data sources
We are always striving to make sure that you have the best experience with Data Hub, and that includes making sure our data source connections are kept clean and tidy. This release includes:
Sage Intacct - User name and Password fields added on the Connect tab.
Quickbooks Online - Oauth2 support has been added.
Excel Online - we have removed this as a data source option.
Sage ODBC changes
We have fixed an error that some customers saw when using some Sage data sources. To support Previewing and Migrating data from the Sage ODBC driver, we have made the following changes when connecting to the data source:
Added a new check box to Enable Identifier Delimiters as some ODBC drivers replace spaces with underscores.
Added a new check box to support Column Aliasing with AS as some ODBC drivers support only column aliasing and not full table aliasing.
Added a new advanced check box to enable/disable SQL SELECT sub-queries as some ODBC drivers do not support sub-queries.
Disabling data sources based on licensing
The Sage Accountant solution has multiple data sources such as Xero and MYOB essentials included in the solution. Customers more than likely only use one of these accounting packages, and so other data sources should be disabled. When you connect to your Sage Accountant solution, Data Hub detects your data source, and you will automatically disable any unused sources which will appear greyed out.
Performance enhancements
The December 2020 release also contains performance enhancements and bug fixes to make Data Hub better for you.
