Zap AI is available in early preview, and tabular models can now be secured end-to-end from Data Hub with row-level security and user-aware analytics.

Zap AI early preview​

Our integrated AI assistant, Zap AI, is now available in early preview. Zap AI lets you chat with your data, ask questions about analytics, models, and Data Hub in general, and get answers and design analytics through conversational AI.

Zap AI is available by request to customers on the Gold and Platinum plans. See Zap AI for details.

Modeling enhancements​

User-aware analytics for tabular models​

Tabular model servers now support Enable cube security, so that Data Hub queries the tabular server as the logged-in user. Server-side roles take effect for each user, instead of every analysis running as the service account.

  • New tabular model servers have the option selected by default.
  • Tabular model servers that existed before upgrading to 2026.3 have the option cleared by default, to preserve existing behaviour.
  • Guest users continue to query as the service account; users without an email address on their Data Hub account see a clear error.
