Data Hub now offers an Auto source load type that automatically selects the optimal incremental load strategy for your data, plus clearer visual indicators for when global date filters are active on pipelines.

Modeling enhancements

Automatic source load

Pipelines now support a new Auto source load type that automatically determines the best incremental load strategy for your data. Instead of manually configuring source load behavior, fill us in on how your data behaves and Data Hub will pick the right source load strategy given the situation.

Automatic source load

We recommend using Auto in all new pipelines unless very customized behavior is desired. In most situations Auto provides the best performance with very little configuration. See how to configure automatic source loading for details.

Clearer global date filter status on pipelines

Previously, when configuring source pipelines, it could be unclear whether the model had a global date filter applied. To make this more obvious, the Global Date Filter section on the source pipeline is now disabled until a global date filter has been enabled.
