This release adds processing time tracking to the Data Limits screen, history truncation by date, and a new Google BigQuery connector, while improving UX by hiding system columns by default in pipelines.

Data Hub enhancements

Processing time on Data Limits screen

The Data Limits screen now shows how long each model has spent processing over the last 7 days. This information can help identify models that may need optimization to reduce processing time and resource usage.

Modeling enhancements

Truncating history

Added an option in the Clear history dialog to delete only records from before a certain date.

New history truncation

If your warehouse size is growing too large due to excessive historical data, we recommend using this feature to remove data that’s no longer relevant.

System columns hidden by default

System columns in pipelines are now hidden by default, reducing visual clutter when designing pipelines. You can still view and edit system columns by clicking the Show system columns link at the bottom of the column list.

New Connectors

Google BigQuery

The new BigQuery connector lets you sync data from your Google BigQuery datasets directly into Data Hub for unified modeling and analytics.
