Zap is aligning its cloud and on-premise versions under a unified 2024.x release cycle, ensuring similar functionality across both deployments, while also introducing a new SAP HANA ODBC connector that simplifies database connections.

We are very excited to deliver our first release where cloud and On-premise will be aligned and will provide the same functionality. It will be following the naming convention of 2024.0, 2024.1 and so on.

This will enable Zap to significantly streamline its processes during release cycles and enhance the maintenance of high standards.

In addition, it will provide our On-premise customers access to features as frequently as they wish to update.

Existing connector enhancements​

SAP HANA ODBC​

A new ODBC connector has been added for SAP HANA connections. ODBC is generally very simple to configure and only requires:

  • A gateway installed on the machine with access to the HANA database.

  • HDBODBC32 driver installed.
