Vertica

Supported versions of Vertica

Data Hub supports connections to Vertica version 7.0 and 7.1 source databases. Later versions may also work.

Connection settings

The following connection settings need to be defined for a Vertica-based data source:

  1. Server - The name of the Vertica server that hosts the database you want to access.

  2. Port - The port number on which to connect to the specified Vertica server.

  3. Database - The name of the Vertica database to use as the data source.

  4. User Name - The user name needed to access the specified Vertica server.

  5. Password - The password for the specified user name.

  6. Schema - Type a schema name to use as the data source, or select the schema from a drop-down list of schemas found on the specified Vertica server.
