Oracle
This topic describes settings available when connecting to an Oracle data source.
About supported versions of Oracle
Data Hub supports connections to the following versions of Oracle databases:
version 9i Database Release 2
version 10g Release 1 and 2
version 11g Release 1 and 2
version 12c Release 1
Later versions may also work.
Connect to the data source
The following connection settings need to be defined for an Oracle-based data source:
Server - The name of the Oracle server. This can be just the server name if the Oracle server is on the same network as the Data Hub server. Alternatively, a fully-qualified domain name (FQDN) can be used.
Database - The name of the Oracle database to access.
User Name - The user name you use to connect to the Oracle database specified in the previous item.
Password - The password for the user name specified in the previous item.

For optional advanced connection settings use either of the following:
The Advanced panel on the Connect screen when adding the data source.
The Properties panel when viewing an existing data source, under the Advanced section.
