Filter an analytic

Filters provide report designers with the ability to filter an analysis during the design process to only display partial data sets. Consumers cannot change this setting.

Steps

1. Open an existing analysis report.

2. Click Edit.

3. From the Query panel, locate hierarchies, levels (sets), or relative time functions relevant for filtering the data.

4. Drag data to the Filters placeholder.

   note

   In the example below, the Fiscal Year has been dragged into the Filters placeholder allowing you to view invoice amounts for 2020 only.

   

5. Click Save.
